Today's tragedy brought new meaning to Monday blues. My version though is Black Monday.
I woke up groggy because of the weather (it looks like rain) and was excited to go to work (i know it's uncommon). But I am normally super hyper on Mondays and the rest of the week my energy slowly die away.
Drove to work as usual and traffic from home wasn't so bad until KL. It was badly jammed up thanks to the traffic police chatting away by the side of the road and not take charge. When 3 lanes merged into 2, it normally slows down traffic and this is when assholes try to squeeze their way in despite the narrow way.
Being a cautious and responsible driver, I put on the signal as a sign that I want to go right but have not because there was a line of motorcyclist on my right. So I waited for my turn and this MF* motorcyclist came quite near to my Mother Teresa (my car's name) and kicked real hard on the door. Why ? Because I have the potential to hit his bike (yes, his stupid bike and I was nowhere near this MF*). Gave him a WTF honk and he flick me the bird or is it flip the bird? It's gonna take hours to have this argument of which is the right expression. Rude MF* and a bloody road bully! Anyway, I noticed that he has sausage fingers and not his number plate.
Finally parked my car and was walking to the building with my colleague, complaining about what happened earlier and something fell on my head. My first thought was, "OMFG don't fucking tell me it's bird shit!" but it's not. It's some random dry stuff, could be dried poop or leaves. I breathe a sigh of relief.
Got to work a minute late, I can never catch a break! And got started on work and some chitchat on the happenings of previous weekend. By noon, the air cond stopped working for a bit and it got warm. Or maybe it was just me feeling hot over the earlier drama.
During lunch, my colleagues got their meal except for mine. My order came approximately 20 minutes before lunch hour is over. Had to wolf down the bloody mee hoon soup. Got back to work and things went back to normal or so I thought.
My normal drive home after work is about 1 hr 15 mins (on a good day). This evening it took me 2 hours!!! 2 fucking hours and do I deserve this punishment ??!!???? I'm gonna go sleep off the bad juju and hope for a better tomorrow.

Lazy Sunday & Hello Monday!
All I wanna do every weekend is to lie down on the sofa and play Tetris Battle on Facebook. Please disregard the background image of the dustbin filled with tissue paper. It would be perfect if someone sits next to me and feed me food and drink at the same time. That is how lazy I feel.

This is my cousin's dog Heavenly Angel and I think her expression is how I feel about Monday. Welcome back to work everyone.

Garage sale & VW
Slept late last night despite extreme tiredness. Had my usual Friday night coffee at my favorite coffee joint with friends and went home. I was excited to get home to start working on my food blog. After many years, it's time to attempt to change the layout of the blog. I recently bought my own domain for it and it will be a waste if I maintain the page as per the usual blogger's template without any widget to enhance it.
After straining my already tired eyes to read through the 'How to' on uploading and make minor changes to the template, I finally made it happen. Someone once said, "if you want something bad enough, don't just think but make it happen". It's my attempt of stepping up.
Had 5-6 hours of sleep and off we went to a Lomography "Garage Sale" and was deeply disappointed as with any "so-called" sales in this country. There was probably less than 10 types of item on sale and it's the expensive shit. Other stuff that I wanted to buy was on regular price. Duh!
Off we went to KLCC for lunch and to the " Volkswagen Show 2012 : The Icon is back" with Mr Hubs. It was my first time and I was pretty impressed. With some cool driving skills to showcase the new Beetle and some dancing by performers.
By the time around 8-ish to 9, I was pretty tired. Thoughts of lying on the bed became much stronger. Invitation for drinks are all politely declined as sleep is imminent.

Diana Mini Lomography Camera
My group of friends bought me a Lomography Camera ; Diana Mini to be exact. It is a cute little thing and light to hold. It's made of plastic after all. And I love it! Because I don't have to startup the thing, just load 35mm film and snap away. People who know me knows that I love to snap pictures but I'm damn slow. Hence, moments are usually lost when I'm ready to snap. Except for when I'm using my good friend's DSLR, that is cool but I can't afford to get one for myself yet.
Pretty busy and occupied now with old school film photography. I am very fascinated with the toy camera and am glad to be able to snap with films again. There's a lot of learn with loads of trial and errors. And this proved to be an expensive hobby.
Before I start, I watched numerous youtube Diana Mini tutorials on the dos and don'ts and general use. What I like about it is that it's not digital and you really have to learn to be patient and wait for the results from the photo lab when the roll is being developed.

Say hello to Buttercup!
Diana Mini in its package
Diana Mini with its booklet, Buttercup (you have to buy this separately), color gels and hot shoe should you need to use the flash on another camera.
My first roll of film is being developed by the photolab. Let's just hope that the photos turn out alright. I don't want overexposure. Fingers crossed!

Season parking
I finally took the plunge and paid for season parking at work. And I got sick the next day! I reason with myself that the reason why I don't buy the season pass is public holidays and days when I get sick and that's often and it's not worth it.
When I finally 'man up' and paid for it, I'm out 1 day. Fucking hell and I'm jinxed.
It could be a coincidence... I don't really know coz I've been suffering from sore throat since Merdeka weekend. And this morning really kicks in with a fever. Doc said that it look sore and infected. Hell yeah! How else did the bloody fever come on?
And when I'm not at work, the whole fucking world is looking for me. When I'm so damn available nobody wanna call me...cursed I tell you.
I will think twice about season parking next month!
