Strict regime

Are 2 months worth of holiday enough for 5 years of strict regime at work ? I think not. At times, I do not know how to act & react. I've been adhering to strict operating procedures. The brain and body no longer know what to do.

The first thing that I did upon resignation was to dye my hair bright red. I can't help myself. I want to have control over something about myself before I turn insane.Followed by painting my nails dark purple, eventhough I look like I was poisoned but I don't care. I just want to feel alive.

People give me funny looks when I'm out coz knowing Malaysians kepoh-chi-ness, they tend to point and look unashamedly. I dare you to stand out and be yourself. Why bother about what others say about you?

5 years of being how to act, how to react, what to say and how to look is enough torture. We are no longer in school or a child. So why are we treated like a child? I'm not staying that there's not positive out of it. But sometimes, over politeness is way overrated. It turns out to look fake.

I tend to shake people's hand when I see them. Some people look at the gesture weirdly. And I might have overdone it. Who knows what is the norm anymore?

The only good thing about the job is the uniform. I love uniform because I'm a lazy person. I do not need to think of what to wear to work. My clothes are all C-A-S-U-A-L because I'm tired from the layers on ICI slapped on my face.

Talking too much isn't a good thing either because you never know when you'll hurt someone's feelings. A lot of "child" still in the airline despite nearing to retirement age. Wherelse in normal society, it is okay to speak your mind. I am so lost!

It's time to re-learn how to be myself again~
