My first rangefinder camera : Yashica Minister III

Earlier this week I received a text from my favourite person of the film and camera world, Mr KY from Bang Bang Geng (BBG), Publika. He gladly informed me that my Minister is fully serviced and ready to rock and roll. I wanted to leave my chair at work and rushed over to Publika to collect it that instant but it was a super busy week. I had to endure the pain of being away from my rangefinder for at least 5 days.

After our Saturday Korean language class, Mr Hubs and I rushed to Publika to collect my baby. I have named him Prime since he's a Minister...hehe... #stupidpun #sillypun #lamepun.

Enough of my silliness and move on to some visual orgasm. Here is my Prime with his newly pimped look.
Bought a lens cover to protect its sensitive selenium cells, Made in China cover. What is not made in China these days anyway ? Hello Kitty camera strap (i'm not a fan but it's the nicest looking one there) for a kawaii look to mellow down its macho-ness.
3/7 angle... the chinese will know what I mean when I say this.
View from the top. Equally sexy~
Sexy bastard, you~
The extremely clean viewfinder after the service. Before this, all I see is green mold. Yucky myyucky~

I will give it a try after this. I was informed that the lens is badly damaged and even after servicing it might not be up to par on what it is capable of. The images might come out to look dreamy. Metal body, Lomo effect. Let's just wait and see, shall we?

Til then folks xoxo
