Relaxing weekend in PJ

Mr Hubs got himself a new phone (pssttt...for steve i heard) and started using Flipboard (despite me urging him to do so much earlier). Always listen to your wife and you won't go wrong...hehe I've been using Flipboard since end of last year, no regrets so far. It's convenient and easy to use, provided there's wifi service. The more shortcuts you create in the app, the longer it'll take to load.

Anyway, this post have nothing to do with Flipboard. It was more like convenience and it's easier for him to read my blog. Yes, we live together but the amount of time we actually speak to each other on a weekday is less than 2 hours (tops!) per day. The best way for him to know more about what's going on inside my brain is to read this.

And to entertain him, I've decided to talk a bit of cock and put in a photo of mua edited using Picasa 3. Easy to use as I'm a total Photoshop bodoh person. No matter how much I wanna learn or how bad I need it to edit some of my raw photos, I can never make any sense of the program.

This is me, the usual me. Playing with my phone with no regards to my surrounding, plotting for world domination or a possible blog post idea. I wish that I could be so relax every single day. Better chance of nicer skin, less wrinkle and more hair.

Cheap books at Subang Avenue

Happy happy joy joy! Why? I bought 8 books for only RM42. There was a book fair inside Subang Avenue and I happen to be around that area for my usual yumchar session. Can't wait to curl up on the couch and start reading.

Fujifilm Instax Mini 7s

Recently I bought a new toy (love gadgets I tell you...). I've been wanting to get one for a long time but never got around to doing it. I kept thinking that it costs a bomb and I'm not exactly rich. Rich in my mind, poor in my pocket.

So on one particular public holiday (FT Day) while Mr Hubs was at work and I was killing time at home. I started surfing the net for more info on instant camera. I did not know that Fujifilm produced a few instant camera model already for the past few years. The price is very reasonable and to me the entry level model Instax Mini 7s is good enough.

Off I went to Mid Valley (never been more determine in my life) and started shopping for the best price. I bought mine at Fotokem at RM228. Films are not included.

 

Pouch is not inclusive as well. I got mine at RM35 from Digicolor, Mutiara Kompleks Jalan Ipoh, KL. Online blogs and forums are selling it at RM85. (same shit..) I got my films at RM22 per pack the same place. Commercial shops are selling the films at RM28-29.80. One camera shop in Pavilion is selling the same film for RM38. They can go eat shit I tell you. Daylight robbery!

So far, I am happy with my new toy. Simply love it.

When I first showed it to my dad, he thought that it's for snapping photos under water. I don't blame him coz it looks like one, look like a toy and plastic-ky.

Do not expect too much if you're using this camera as it is below RM250. It's a fun camera to play with. If you're a photo quality snob then it's best to opt for other models from Fujifilm. Or check out Polaroid's Pogo.

Power Dinner

As Mr Hubs was out of town this week, 2 of my good friends Ms CAV and Ms JL ajak makan dinner at Sushi Zanmai, Sunway Pyramid. It is Ms CAV's favourite makan place. By the time I got there, there was a line outside. Sorry dears...I guess you guys have to line up... we made reservation...haha

We started talking and made additional order. There is a reason for this...I can assure you. Ms CAV is known to order a lot (too much) and not able to telan everything. So, for this very reason she ordered some food with Ms JL and I order whatever I wanted to eat. Coz I'm a cow, end of story.

As I sat there with them, I started doing some calculation in my head. Not calculating as in manipulation and shit. More like, "Hey, I've been friends with Ms CAV for 16 years and here we are still going out for dinner and stuff" It was a great feeling to be honest. Ms JL goes to the same school as us but I've only gotten close to her in recent years. However, knowing someone for how many years is not the most important factor in friendship.

It is how the friendship is maintained with trust, honesty, great understanding and forgiveness. (when necessary) When we were younger, we want more friends. Quantity wins hand down over quality. However, as we age we will have lesser friends but better quality friends. Friends that we could keep for life. We might not see each other everyday but we are assured that whenever we need them they are there for us.

I am thankful for those who are still with me and understand me and accept me for who I am. I am not perfect but with you guys I feel 101%.

For those of you who thinks that I'm a bitch, screw you. Life is short, why do I care?

iPad Dock

My first ever purchase from those online coupon thingy. It was a group purchase with Ms CAV on New Year's eve at Ms JL's house. Just got it after 1 month, it says on the website that it takes 21 days coz it was CNY break in between. (don't blame them)

The rear end and it doesn't come with the cable. It came with a car charger instead. Now the question is, why do I need a car charger for my iPad dock when normally people will use the dock at home? I wonder :(

 

Ta-dah...not very stable and had to remove my iPad cover. But it's okay lar... It look impressive.
